The Violet Femmes are one of the two Division 2 representative women’s teams for Brisbane City Rollers at the Open Season Tournaments held throughout the year. The team colours for the Violet Femmes are purple, black and white tartan and if you still can’t tell which team they are, listen out for their team chant….
Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah
Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah
We’re gonna KNOCK YOU OUT!
(Stomp, Stomp)
Where did the Violet Femmes come from?
The Violet Femme’s were formed in 2016 when the BCR Division 2 skater cohort had officially reached max capacity and in response two squads were formed, The Banshees and the Violet Femmes. Both squads went on to participate in Division 2 of the Queensland Open Season tournament, with the Violet Femme’s finishing up in third place for 2016.
